MEET ALLISON,

Allison, 23 years old, is a Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá industrial engineering student.

We first met Allison in 2020 online, when we were conducting an online survey in the Philippines to help us understand the culture and concerns of the students before going to Panama.

Her life prior to Christ was centered on herself, confidence in her own capacity and ability as a good person, cohabiting with her live-in partner. Her provocative Instagram photos earned her a large following and opportunities. She came to understand the gospel, the love, redemption, and grace we have in Jesus, and living a new life as she got to know Him.

Despite life’s challenges, break up from her partner, pressures, and persecution, she chose to publicly declare her faith in Jesus through water baptism.

She now lives a life centered on a loving relationship with Jesus, and has gained a spiritual community and family. Her newfound faith motivates her to live her life with purpose and in the new direction that God has for her. She modified her her instagram account and removed her provocative photos as she wants to honor God with her new life in Christ.

We have confidence in the power of the gospel as it bring transformation into the lives of those who hear and experience it. Together, we are reaching students bringing to them the good news of Jesus Christ.
