Remember Steve?
He is a student at the Universidad de Panama taking up criminology. He is from the GUNA tribe, one of the seven indigenous tribes in Panama. Today, you’ll meet his friends in his community and how he has influenced them for the Lord.

COMMUNITY VISIT
Last June, we visited Steve’s community and met his family and friends.
It was through this visit that we met Jair, Naym, Fernando, and Ethan. This started a new friendship and an opportunity to talk about God and their faith.
They saw Steve being discipled, growing in his faith and relationship with God. This encouraged them to do the same. One by one, they started to commit to knowing Jesus more and the Bible through one-on-one discipleship.
Steve has continually invited them to church and, at times, covered their fares so that they would be able to attend Sunday service.
WEEKLY DISCIPLESHIP
Aside from one-on-one discipleship, we have a weekly gathering in their community to study the Bible and pray together. We are excited about growth as they move towards inviting more of their friends and neighbors.
STUDENT CENTER ON THE WAY
We want to see the next generation honor God with their lives. Our mission is to preach the gospel and disciple the next generation, and to facilitate that, we are building our first student center in Panama strategically located near the major campuses. This month we have embarked on securing this facility and started preparing to open this center on October 30th.
