I hope this newsletter finds you all well and full of joy in the Lord.
Bianca and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continuous support and partnership in advancing the gospel in Panama. Your generous giving has made it possible for us to reach out to more students, share the love of Christ and help them grow in their faith.
Meet Jair.
Today, I would like to share with you a story of a young man named Jair. He is a student at the Universidad de Panama and a French major, with dreams of becoming a teacher. He is Panamanian and part of the Guna tribe.
We met Jair a year ago, and since then, we have seen his life transformed by the love and grace of God.
This photo was taken August 18, 2022 the day he committed himself to Jesus and knowing him more.
From follower to discipler
Over the past few months, he has been faithfully following Jesus and growing in his faith through discipleship. His faith has grown to the point where he started sharing the gospel with his friends.
One of his friends, Kevin, saw a change in Jair’s life and heard his testimony about Jesus. Jair invited him to know Jesus and started to journey him through discipleship.
Jair’s sharing about the purpose, hope, and meaning found in Christ moved Kevin to tears.
“THE GOD TEST APP”
An interactive way too share the gospel.
As he grows in his faith and love for Jesus, his passion for others to know the gospel also grows.
He has been equipped to use “The God Test” app, which has given him the confidence to share the gospel.
“The God Test App” is a smartphone application created by Every Nation, designed to provide students with an easy and interactive tool for sharing the Gospel with their friends.
Jair shares the Gospel.
Equipped to share the gospel through “The God Test App,” he then talked to his friends Marvelis and Rudelis.
This led to a gospel conversation that resulted in these young ladies giving their lives to Christ.
Marvelis and Rudelis are now actively walking in faith and in a relationship with Christ, and they have become part of Bianca’s weekly discipleship group on campus.
We are thrilled to see the impact of the gospel in Jair’s life and how he is using his newfound faith to make a difference in the lives of others.
Transformed hearts
An increasing number of young women on campus are embracing Christ as the gospel deeply impacts their hearts. They have become living testimonies of their personal encounter with Jesus and are actively inviting others to join the weekly discipleship group.
Through discipleship and community, these young women are experiencing a deepening love for Jesus and His Word as they continue to grow.
As we walk alongside them, we have the opportunity to offer mentorship, share wisdom, and help them navigate life’s challenges in light of God’s Word.
